As part of their Geography unit Year 4 will be visiting the British Museum.  They are at present learning about the Americas, specifically the Mayans.

The children will be traveling by train and underground. Please ensure your child has suitable clothing for the trip and a packed lunch (no sweets/chocolate/crisps/fizzy drinks or NUTS)

As part of their Antarctica topic, 2P will be going to Dulwich College to visit the James Caird.  The James Caird is the boat the explorer Ernest Shackleton used to save his men during an expedition to the continent.  The children will leave school at 10 am and will be traveling by bus and train to the college.

Please ensure your child has weather-appropriate clothing and a packed lunch with them (if you have filled in a slip for a school packed lunch this will be supplied on the day).  Please ensure your packed lunches do not contain any glass bottles, fizzy drinks, sweets or nuts.  We also need 4 adults to accompany the trip.   If you can help please let the class teacher know.
