Our StaffA look at all those people who work on behalf of our children
Senior Management Team
I am proud to say that I was the Head Teacher at Haseltine from July 2010 to April 2014 when I happily handed over to Sara Anderman who had worked alongside me all those years as the Deputy Head Teacher.
In my new role as Executive Head Teacher I am privileged to be working with two outstanding schools: Haseltine and Fairlawn. My aim is to ensure that all the children have exceptional school experiences by pooling the wealth of talent from both schools.
At Haseltine our children are happy, engaged and enthusiastic learners. We are proud to have a happy community that works together for all our children.

I love everything about this school and it’s community.
I have been the Head of School here since April 2014 and I have worked at Haseltine for many years now. Some people ask me why I have worked at the same school for so long and the answer is simple: because it is Haseltine! I love everything about this school and it’s community.
The children are the most incredible learners and their enthusiasm and their absolute love for learning is just so infectious. The parents are the most supportive and friendly people you could hope to work in partnership with and the adults who work here are the most passionate people you could ever meet.

I am very lucky as EYFS leader, as I can spend time with all of the children in Reception and Nursery. As Deputy Head and Computing leader I also have the opportunity to get to know the children across the rest of the school when I am teaching Computing and 3D printing, among other subjects.

I love working here because the children are fantastic and every day they do things that amaze me or make me proud to be a teacher. Being Deputy has also given me the opportunity to get to know many children and parents across the whole school and I am always very proud to say that I work at Haseltine.
I have worked at Haseltine as Nursery Class Teacher since 2015.
I am proud to work at Haseltine because it is such a friendly school where everyone looks out for each other; staff, children and parents alike. We have fantastic resources, dedicated teachers and children who love to learn, which makes working here very rewarding and enjoyable.
As a teacher, I have an interest and commitment to each child, and work to create a class environment which supports, extends and engages the learning of every child. Through feedback and recognition of achievement, each child is encouraged to progress with their learning and develop the motivation to become lifelong learners. I am committed to setting high expectation and promoting outstanding learning and progress. Through nurturing children’s self-confidence, supporting children to develop respect for themselves and others, encouraging a love of learning and teaching strong communication and numeracy skills I believe we can raise achievement for all our children at Haseltine.

Music has been a passion for me since primary school when I first started playing the recorder. After encountering some inspirational music teachers along the way, I went on to study the oboe and completed a degree in Music at the University of Reading.
I am proud to be the first music specialist teacher at Haseltine and to have been given the opportunity to develop the musical life of the school.
I am keen to involve as many children as possible in either playing an instrument or singing and hope that they will develop that love of music that I have enjoyed all my life.
I am passionate about sport and teaching basic skills well.
I spend a lot of my time outside playing football, golf and walking. I have been teaching PE for 7 years to Reception through to Year 6. I hope to bring success to Haseltine sports teams in a range of sports.

I have been a staff governor for nearly two years; serving at Haseltine beforehand and now on the new Federation Governing Body since September. I joined Haseltine as the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) in September 2004, and have been working with pupils with special educational needs since 2000.
I believe that every child must be given a nurturing, exhilarating and positive learning experience and much of my role as SENCo focuses on working with school staff and external professionals to ensure that this is achieved.
I have the pleasure of working with dedicated people who are utterly committed to helping shape the lives of all of the children who attend Haseltine. Each day is different and comes with its own challenges and rewards. I enjoy coming to school every day and consider myself very fortunate to have such a fulfilling occupation.
